1. Pulmonary Medicine & Interventional Pulmonology
   • Twelve years of experience in management of out-patient and in-patient pulmonary disorders, sleep disordered breathing patients.
   • Teaching & training of medical students in internal medicine posted in the department during senior residency.
   • I have participated in various academic programmes like seminars, journal clubs, and bedside presentations during fellowship.
   • Competent in performing diagnostic fiberoptic bronchoscopy with an experience of over 3000 independent bronchoscopies.
   • Competent in performing endo-bronchial, trans-bronchial lung biopsies and transbronchial needle aspirations, performed over 1000 biopsies.
   • Assisted as well as performed electrocautery and argon plasma coagulation (APC) of endobronchial tumors and granulation tissue.
   • Performed and assisted over 100 rigid and semi-rigid thoracoscopies, experienced in taking pleural biopsies, talc pleurodesis, adhesiolysis and treatment of complicated empyemas.
   • Assisted and perfomed over 50 endo-bronchial ultrasound guided transbronchial fine needle aspiration (EBUS-TBNA) from mediastinal lymph nodes.
   • Assisted and performed rigid bronchoscopic intubation of trachea, tracheal stenosis dilatation by rigid bronchoscope as well as balloon dilatation, coring-forceps removal of tracheo-bronchial tumours, management of central airway obstruction of various causes, foreign body removal and assisted in stenting of trachea.
   • Experienced in placing chest drains and performing pleurodesis.
   • Competent in performing and interpreting various lung functions tests including cardiopulmonary exercise testing.
2. Critical care
   • Consultant in 22 bedded medical ICU in NH MMI hospital, Raipur, Chhattisgarh, where consultations regarding management of septic shock, pneumonia ARDS, multiorgan failure, ventilator management of such patients are done daily. It is a medical and surgical ICU with 100% occupancy.
   • Worked as In-charge of a 20 bedded Intensive Care Unit where medical, surgical, orthopaedic, neurosurgical and gynaecological patients were admitted and treated at Chitwan Medical College, Nepal.
   • Certified in ACLS and BLS training.
   • Well versed in the procedures like endo-tracheal intubation, arterial line placement, central venous catheter placement (Conventional & ultrasound guided), use of invasive and noninvasive mechanical ventilation.
   • Experienced in managing critically ill patients with ARDS, Obstructive airway disorders, pulmonary vascular disorders and septic shock.
   • Well versed in point of care ultrasonography, guided pleural fluid drainage, assessment of pneumothorax, guided CVC catheter placement, compression ultrasound and Inferior vena cava assessment for fluid status.
   • Training & education of paramedical staff in the Respiratory intensive care unit.
3. Sleep medicine
   • Experienced in performing, analyzing polysomonography and titrating CPAP/BiPAP for the purpose of treatment of various sleep disordered breathing with an experience in using advanced BIPAP machines including adaptive servo ventilation.

• Honoured as “Inspiring Pulmonologists of India 2023” by The Economic Times on Doctor’s Day Conclave at New Delhi
• Honoured with Icon of Health Award in 2019 for best pulmonologist in Chattishgarh by Times of India.
• Certificate of Merit from Principals’ Association for topping Bantwal taluk in PUC, Mangalore, Karnataka (1997).
• Won scholarship to study medicine from Ministry of Education, Nepal (1997).
